Entry Test 2010 for Admission to UET Lahore and Other Engineering Universities

University Of Engineering and Technology, Lahore has announced the schedule of Combined Entry Test for admission in engineering institutions of the Punjab for undergraduate programs [Entry 2010]. The Entry Test will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 10.00 am simultaneously at the following centers.

Applicants from Gilgit-Biltistan shall appear at U.E.T. Taxila only. Entry Test Applications

1. The Entry Test Application shall be filled online through the web link (admission.uet.edu.pk) from July 13, 2010 onwards. The applicant should make sure that the entered data is correct and then take a printout of online submitted application for submission at the test centre to obtain the admit card.
2. This printed application along with attachments listed below shall be submitted to one of the above centers where applicant intends to appear in the test.
3. In case of unavailability of computer facilities, applicants may use this facility in the designated computer laboratories at the above centers from July 13, 2010 to July 28, 2010.
4. The Entry Test Fee Rs.300 should be deposited online in the Convener’s Account # 0128-7900621003 HBL, UET Branch Lahore.

Eligibility Applicants with following subject combinations are eligible for this test: Subject Combinations (Intermediate Exam)

1. Physics, Mathematics, English and Chemistry
2. Physics, Mathematics, English and Computer Science
3. Physics, Mathematics, English and Statistics

General Eligibility Criteria Applicants who have passed or appeared in Intermediate or equivalent examination, or B.Sc., DAE, and B.Tech (Pass) are eligible for Entry Test. Attachments with The Entry Test Application

1. Two passport size photographs (one to be pasted on the printed application).
2. Photocopy of Domicile Certificate.
3. Photocopy of CNIC or Computerized B-Form issued by NADRA

Important Notes

• The candidate has to show the original Domicile Certificate bearing the photograph at the time of submitting Entry Test Application.
• No Entry Test Application Form shall be entertained if submitted through post/courier.
• Specimen Entry Test Questions are available at U.E.T. website (admission.uet.edu.pk)
• The last date for submitting the Entry Test Application will be July 28, 2010 up to 4:00 pm.
