UET Lahore: Combined Entry Test for Undergraduate Programs for Entry 2011

University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, has announced Combined Entry Test schedule for admissions in engineering institutions of the Punjab for Undergraduate Programs for Entry 2011.

Entry Test Date and Places

The Entry Test will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 10:00 am simultaneously at the following centers.

Guidelines for Entry Test 20011

• Applicants are advised to choose a Test Center nearest to the district of domicile.
• Applicants from Gilgit-Baltistan shall appear at UET, Taxila, only.
• Applicant from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may choose UET, Taxila, as their center if the seats at UET, Peshawar, are not available.

Entry Test Applications

1. The Entry Test application shall be filled online through the web link admission.uet.edu.pk from June 15, 2011 onwards. The applicant should make sure that the entered data is correct and then take a printout of online filled application.
2. This printed application along with prescribed attachments shall be submitted at one of the above centers, where applicant intends to appear in the test, to obtain the Admit Card.
3. In case of unavailability of computer facilities, applicants may use this facility in the designated computer laboratories at the above centers from June 15, 2011 to July 11, 2011.
4. The Entry Test Fee of Rs.350 should be deposited online in the account number 0128 0005 5333 03 at Habib Bank Limited (HBL), UET branch, Lahore.

Eligibility for Entry Test

Applicants with following subject combinations in Intermediate Examination are eligible for this test:

1. Physics, Mathematics, English and Chemistry
2. Physics, Mathematics, English and Computer Science
3. Physics, Mathematics, English and Statistics

General Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who have passed or appeared in Intermediate, B.Sc., DAE, B.Tech. (Pass), or any equivalent examination are eligible for Entry Test.

Attachments with the Entry Test Application

1. Photocopy of Domicile Certificate.
2. Photocopy of Matriculation Certificate / O Level Certificate
3. Photocopies of Detailed Marks Certificates of F.Sc. (A Level), B.Sc., DAE, or B.Tech. (Pass) (whichever is applicable)
4. Photocopy of CNIC or Computerized B Form issued by NADRA.
5. Two passport size photographs (one to be pasted on the printed application).

Important Notes

1. The candidate has to show the original domicile certificate bearing the photograph at the time of submitting Entry Test application.
2. No Entry Test Application Form shall be entertained if submitted through post/courier.
3. Specimen Entry Test Questions are available at web link (admission.uet.edu.pk).
4. Result of Combined Entry Test shall be declared on August 03, 2011 (midnight) and available at web link (admission.uet.edu.pk). However the key for self-marking shall be uploaded on the website on the midnight of the test date.

The last date for submitting the Entry Test application for Undergraduate Programs for Entry 2011 is July 11, 2011 up to 04:00 pm.
