Government College University, Faisalabad, has invited applications on the prescribed forms for admission to the following MS / M.Phil. and Ph.D. (Morning/ Evening) postgraduate programs for the Spring Semester 2012.
M.S./M.Phil. (Evening)

Eligibility for M.S. /M.Phil.
- The candidates must have passed M.A. / M.Sc. / 4-year education after F.A. / F.Sc. (minimum 130 credit hours) or equivalent degree in the relevant field from Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institution with at least 50% marks (under annual system of examination) or 2.5 (under semester system) CGPA will be compulsory for admission to M.S./M.Phil. programs.
- Clearance of GAT (General) test by National Testing Service (NTS) is pre-requisite.
- Candidates working in the government/semi government or private institutions shall have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned organizations.
Ph.D. (Morning)

Eligibility for Ph.D.:
- The candidates must have passed M.S. / M.Phil. with minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 in M.S. / M.Phil / equivalent degree from HEC recognized institution.
- Clearance of GAT (Subject) test by NTS for admission to Ph.D. program is pre-requisite.
- Candidates working in the government/semi government or private institutions shall have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned organizations.

- HEC awardees under indigenous scholarship scheme are encouraged to apply.
- GC University, Faisalabad, reserves the right to refuse admission to any candidate without assigning any reason.
How to Apply
Prospectus will be available in the National Bank of Pakistan Jinnah Colony Branch (University Booth) and the Bank of Punjab, Kutchery Bazar Branch (University Booth) Faisalabad, on payment of Rs.700.
Candidates can also download Admission Form from GC University, Faisalabad, website and attach a bank draft of Rs.700 in favor of Treasurer, GC University Faisalabad.
The Admission Forms complete in all respects should reach in the Directorate of Advanced Studies by January 23, 2012 during office hours.
