Bahauddin Zakariya University: Admission to PhD for Session 2011-2012

Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan, has announced of admission to Ph.D. programs for session 2011-2012.

Applications have been invited for admission in Ph.D. programs on the prescribed forms in the following disciplines:

1. Arabic
2. Biotechnology
3. Botany
4. Chemistry
5. History
6. Islamic Studies
7. Mass Communication
8. Mathematics
9. Pakistan Studies
10. Pharmaceutical Chemistry
11. Pharmaceutics
12. Physics
13. Political Science
14. Statistics
15. Zoology

Eligibility for Ph.D. Programs

• MS/ M.Phil. or equivalent degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00/4.00 (under semester system) or first division (under annual system).
• Qualification of the GAT (Subject)/GRE International (Subject) Test is the prerequisite for admission into the Ph.D. program.

Prospectus

The application forms are available in the Prospectus which can be obtained from the following branches of Habib Bank Limited and United Bank Limited on payment of Rs.300.

• Habib Bank Limited (HBL) and United Bank Limited (UBL) University Branch, Multan
• HBL, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Branch, Multan.

Or through mail by sending bank draft for Rs.350 in favor of the Treasurer, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan for Registered Post delivery and Rs.400 for delivery by courier services/OCS (where available) along with a self-addressed large size envelope.

Applications complete in all respects must reach the respective Department / Centre / Institute of the University for Ph.D. programs by 4:00 p.m. up to January 30, 2012.

Applications which are wrongly addressed or delivered at a place other than the office of the Department/Institute/Centre concerned shall not be entertained.
