
International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, with support of its donor partners and stakeholders currently supports the creation of pilot mediation center(s) in Lahore as an alternative means to settle commercial, corporate, business, financial and other disputes. Only fully trained and accredited mediators will be able to provide mediation services in the center(s).
For this purpose, a leading UK-based organization will provide a world-class training program to develop a professional cadre of mediators and trainers.
This is a unique opportunity for those who want to pursue this as a career and work as mediators/ master trainers or support alternative dispute settlement processes and training activities in field of mediation.
The training program is starting with a 6-days mediator skills training course from February 7, 2012 until February 13, 2012 in Lahore.
Participants will learn
- To settle disputes effectively in days rather than months saving vital time.
- To add value to business and financial disputes by finding business solutions to business problems.
- To manage the mediation process and facilitate advanced negotiation.
