Military College Jhelum and Military College Murree: Admissions

Military College Jhelum and Military College Murree has admission open for Entry 2011. Application on prescribed forms are invited for admission in class VIII, IX and XI, for admission into the classes as mentioned against each institution:

  1. VIII Class – Military College Jhelum (MCJ)
  2. IX Class – Military College Murree (MCM)
  3. XI Class – Military College Murree (MCM)

Prospectus

Prospectus / application forms can be obtained from Military College Jhelum and Military College Murree Upper Topa, by hand or through Bank Draft in favor of “Commandant Military College Murree, payable at Bank Alfalah, Mall Road, Murree” Code No. 0180.

Prospectus are also available at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers at Karachi, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Quetta.

Eligibility

Wards of Army Officers / Junior Commissioned Officers / Soldiers (Serving / Retired), Civil Armed Forces (CAF) – Serving only and Civilians are eligible to apply. Details as follows:

For VIII Class:

  1. VII Passed or candidates appearing in VII class exam may apply.
  2. Age Limit: 12-14 years on April 1, 2011.
  3. Wards of Army personnel (Serving / Retired) and civilians.

For IX Class:

  1. VIII Passed or candidates appearing in VIII class exam may apply.
  2. Age Limit: 13-15 years on April 1, 2011.
  3. Wards of army personnel (Serving / Retired) and Civil Armed Forces (CAF) – serving only.

For XI Class:

  1. X Passed or candidates appearing in X class exam may apply.
  2. Age Limit: 15-17 years on July 1, 2011.
  3. Wards of Army personnel (Serving / Retired) and Civil Armed Force (CAF) – Serving only.

Waiver of 90 days can be granted in upper and lower age limits in all categories as per existing rule by the competent authority.

Admission Schedule

The admission is based on written test, intelligence test, interview and medical examination.

Written test will be held as per following schedule:

  • VIII and IX class: November 7, 2010 (Sunday)
  • XI class: May 8, 2011 (Sunday)

Peshawar, Abbottabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Kharian, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara, Multan, Bahawalpur, Hyderabad, Karachi, Quetta, Pano Aqil, Sargodha, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Murree.

Application Submission

Last date of submission of application forms:

  • VIII and IX class: October 15, 2010
  • XI class: April 15, 2011
