Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, has invited applications for admission in the College of Medical Technology, PIMS, in the following disciplines of 2-year F.Sc. Medical Technology under Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad Courses (Session 2011 -2013).
- F.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology (M.I.T.)
- F.Sc. Ophthalmology Technology (Ophth.T.)
- F.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology (O.T.T.)
- F.Sc. Physiotherapy Technology (Physio.T.)
- F.Sc. Dental Hygiene Technology (D.H.T.)
- F.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (M.L.T.)
Eligibility
- Matriculation with science Grade A to C (50% aggregate marks in science subject i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
- Age limit is 18 years on 28.05.2011 (Relax-able up to 23 years in case of Government servant).
- Both male and female can apply.
- Only candidates found eligible will be permitted to appear in the Test/ Interview.
- Merit will be based on Matric / Interview Marks.
Ineligibility
Applicants with F.A/ F.Sc. or Equivalent qualification are not eligible for 02 years courses.
Application
- Acceptable on prescribed form / prospectus available at College of Medical Technology (CMT) Admin on producing challan of payment of Rs.500 account No. 132-0 in the name of Principal College of Medical Technology in the National Bank of Pakistan (PIMS) Branch, G-8/3, Islamabad. OR
- Can also be had from sending bank draft of Rs.550 in favor of Principal College of Medical Technology, PIMS, Islamabad.
- Departmental candidates should apply through proper channel.
- Incomplete application / result awaiting applicant will not be entertained.
Last date for receipt of application in College of Medical Technology, PIMS, is May 28, 2011.
Bring original documents along with CNIC / B -Form and recent photograph for Entrance Test/ Interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/ interview.
Hostel facility is subject to availability.
