Plastics Technology Center: Admissions to BE Polymer Engineering for February 2011 Intake

Plastics Technology Center (PTC) has announced admissions to B.E. Polymer Engineering degree – an eight semesters (four years) degree program in affiliation with University of Karachi and accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council.

College of Polymer Engineering, PTC was established by the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Industries and Production with the assistance of UNDP/UNIDO. It possesses state-of-the-art plant and equipment provided by the Government of Japan. PTC is the pioneer in polymer education in Pakistan since 1988.

It is very encouraging that more than 90% of PTC graduating students get employment in the plastic industry before the announcement of their results and have secured jobs locally and internationally. PTC students are performing practical on advanced polymer processing and analytical testing equipment, which are of world class standard. Ten batches of B.E. Polymer have graduated and 11th batch will be graduating by end of February 2011.

Admission Criteria

  • H.S.C. (Pre-Engineering) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
  • D.A.E. Chemical with minimum 60% marks. Open merit all Pakistan basis.

Application Package

Application Package can be obtained for Rs.700 (non-refundable) and by demand draft for Rs.755 in favor of Plastics Technology Center, if required by post. Admission Form can be downloaded from: http://www.ptc.org.pk/Doc/BE Admission Forms.pdf.
