Admission for Children of Pakistan Navy Personnel Undergraduate Programs in NUST Constituent Colleges for Session 2012-2013

Pakistan Navy has invited applications for admission to the following undergraduate programs of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) constituent colleges for the session 2012-2013 against limited seats reserved for children of serving / retired Pakistan Navy personnel including civilian employees of Pakistan Navy.

Pakistan Navy Service Personnel

Pakistan Navy Engineering College, Karachi

• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering

College of E&ME, Rawalpindi

• Mechatronics Engineering

Military College of Signals, Rawalpindi

• Software Engineering

Military College of Engineering, Risalpur

• Civil Engineering

College of Aeronautical Engineering, Risalpur

• Aerospace Engineering (Male candidates only)

Army Medical College, Rawalpindi

• MBBS
• BDS

Pakistan Navy Civilian Personnel

Pakistan Navy Engineering College, Karachi

• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility

1. Children serving Pakistan Navy Officers / CPOs / Sailors
2. Children of retired Pakistan Navy Officers / CPOs / Sailors who have rendered pensionable service including those who died while in service or medically boarded out.
3. Children of Pakistan Navy Civilian personnel, serving / retired (who have rendered pensionable service) and of those who died while in service or medically boarded out, for the seats allocated to them for specified disciplines at PNEC.
4. A candidate who fulfills prerequisites and other eligibility conditions of the university / college / institute he / she is applying for.
5. A candidate who has obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate each in Matriculation (SSC) and HSSC or equivalent examination.
6. Engineering: F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering) or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for all Engineering disciplines (F.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics and Computer Sciences for Software Engineering.
7. Medical: F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Note: Students who are appearing in F.Sc. final year / equivalent examination 2012 or have appeared in the same are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

Candidates are required to apply to Directorate of Naval Educational Services, NHQ, Islamabad on the prescribed Admission Forms.

Candidates are also required to apply to NUST on the prescribed NUST Admission Forms and follow the selection procedure as given in NUST prospectus.

Candidates are to appear in the NUST Entrance Test as per NUST Programs.

Application Forms:

Pakistan Navy Admission Forms can be obtained from NES Dte, NHQ, Islamabad and PNEC Karachi against cash payment of Rs.100 or by post against bank draft of Rs.100 in favor of NES Dte, NHQ, Islamabad.

Application Deadline:

Last date for receipt of duly completed Admission Forms at NES Directorate, NHQ, Islamabad is:

• Engineering: June 22, 2012
• MBBS/BDS: August 15, 2012
