Centre for Languages and Translation Studies (CeLTS), UOG, for the first time in Pakistan, offers M.Phil. in internationally recognized discipline of Translation Studies.
M.Phil. in English (Applied Translation Studies)

Degree Outcomes:
Upon completion of the program, students are expected to:
- be equipped with specialized translation and interpretation skills such as literary translation, commercial translation, legal translation, business translation, media translation etc.
- be equipped with linguistic and cultural knowledge required for practical translation.
- understand theoretical and practical orientations of simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
- develop the ability to apply dynamic approaches to research in translation studies.

M.Phil. in Economics

Master in Medical Education
- Full-Time Morning Program
Eligibility criteria:
- Diploma in Medical Education from Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) recognized institution.
- MBBS, BDS from HEC and PMDC recognized institution (Individuals with higher qualification like FCPS, FRCS, MCPS, M.S., MD, MDS or equivalent will be preferred.
- Ph.D. /M.Phil/M.Sc. in Basic Medical science from HEC recognized institution.
- Maximum age on application not more than 50 years.
M.Sc. in Geography
- Full-Time Morning Program
Eligibility criteria:
- B.A. / B.Sc. degrees (any subject) with 50% overall marks will be eligible for admission to this two-year M.Sc. Geography program. Admission will be granted as per UOG merit formula with additional 20 marks to those who have studied Geography in their bachelors.
M.A. in Social Work

Admission Requirements for M.S./M.Phil.
- M.S./M.Phil. candidates shall posses at least sixteen years of education (M.A. / M.Sc. / B.S.-4 years degree / BBA/ B.E. / B.Sc. (Engineering) degree or its equivalent qualifications in the relevant subject.
- The candidate shall have at least 45% marks in the annual examination system or 2.5 CGPA in the semester system examination throughout his / her academic career except in Matriculation and Intermediate examinations.
- GAT General (NTS) or subject GRE with 50 % accumulative score.
- Candidate shall have to pass the Departmental Subject Based Written Test (DSBWT) and Interview at University of Gujrat.
- In service candidates shall submit NOC to apply for admission to M.S. / M.Phil. at University of Gujrat at the time of submission of admission of application and the study leave approval letter from the department concerned shall be required at the time of registration.
Admission Requirements M.A./M.Sc.
- The candidate shall have sixteen years degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject.
- The candidate shall have at least 45% marks in the annual examination system or 2.5 CGPA in the semester system of examination, throughout his/her academic career except in Matriculation and Intermediate examinations
- GAT (NTS) or subject GRE with 50% accumulative score (a maximum one semester period can be relaxed for submission of GAT result)
